HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LUKA!!

hm... this took longer than expected... I know I'm late, Luka's birthday was 3 days ago >__>"

(if she was 20 when the software was released & it's 3 years old she has to be 23 now :3 )
but anyway, even though there were stages in its creation where it looked awful I'm surprised how much better it became in the end(normally I start from scratch if I mess up something)
there are many details that freak me out... but I just can hope that you don't see them ^^"

I put /Skeleton Life/ (by the twins) & /Toy Box/ (by Luka) in a playlist & non-stop listened to them while drawing... the strange thing is, their play count was 2, 3 or something & I remembered that I didn't like skeleton life that much.. but yesterday I re-discovered these two songs.. they're pretty awsome! ♪

btw, you all know Double Lariat, hm?
I just don't get why it's so popular ô.ò (in comparison to other luka-songs)
there are much better songs! >:3 (e.g. akahitoha (or better known as /One Red Leaf/ ) or 7/8 (which nearly nobody knows.. but I rly like it ^^ )
even being the only vocaloid (I know she's not rly the only one) who can sing in english her english songs are not as popular as Double Lariat ô.ò
& it's #4 in the TOTAL RANING, you know what that means? #4 of over 9000 songs (I'm neither exaggerating nor joking ^^" over 9000 is true)

2009 I downloaded it somewhere & I didn't rly understand the lyrics(it's only since 2010 that I could say I rly understand japanese well enough to get the lyrics )
& last summer I found the PV by coincidence & I got the lyrics plus I found some interpretations... I spat out my cereal

that's the whole song: she spings around like a ballerina & increases her radius to 6300km every refrain... & finally has an angle of 23.4° (yeah, THAT'S what she sings)
& the interpretations killed me:
a) the song's about the earth - the radius is 6300km & the angle of the axis 23.4 ...
-do they RLY think the producer wanted to say THAT? I think he took these numbers just for fun...
b) it's about persistence - Luka sings how she never stops spinning & increases her reach even though there are ppl who ware better than she is
in the end with a reach of 6300km & an angle of 23.4° she discovers a knew point of view... or something(gotta be a very horrific discovery o__O" ) & want someone to spin with her & to continue for her if she gets tired of spinning one day...
nya, never give up & try harder - that's the core of the song... what do you think?
if you think about the musical apect... there's only that instrumental part that could've been so succesful, eh?
